Hi,
Someone just forwarded this to the foundation email address, noting that it looks like a spear
phishing attempt. I concur... So I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of this, and if someone approaches us with something like this, we can respond appropriately.
Cheers,
Halla

Hey XXXX,
I'm Maxim <https://www.maximenis.com>, founder of Habitat Inc
<http://habitat.inc>, an American artificial intelligence company. We're
reaching out because we'd love to collaborate with you on your work
developing Krita.
We found your profile on GitHub, and were impressed with your
contributions. We would love to offer you compensation to create more
excellent PRs in the Krita codebase!
You can work any hours per week, but there will be a 10 week deadline to
complete 10-15 medium-to-large PRs adding to the Krita codebase. We will
pay thousands of US dollars per PR, so long as you meet certain
requirements:
1. The PRs need to be well-tested.
2. The *implementation* of the PR logic should constitute 1-10 hours of
engineering work.
3. They can be anything between new features, bug fixes, or other
valuable engineering that contributes to Krita.
4. The 10-15 PRs and their associated testing must be completed by
August 15, 2025.
Please let us know if you are interested, and we can hop on a call to
discuss logistics! We're really excited to kick this off.
Best,
Maxim
