I'm kinda reluctant to give Apple even more money than they already
have... They really should have an open source support program! In
general, though, I find it hard to find enough time to work on Krita on
OSX.
We've got two macs, one a by-now unusable mac mini, and one macbook
pro, which are both at my place. So I make the macOS builds and try
to reproduce the various OSX specific bugs, but I do not have any
real OSX experience or knowledge. Also, I am doing the windows builds,
the linux builds, the project management, the bug triaging, coding
new features and fund raisers and so on.
We really do need a platform maintainer for OSX. Someone who can
triage and maybe fix bugs, make official release builds and get new
features, like gmic-qt integrated and running. If there's a volunteer,
then finding money for the Apple Developer program is no problem!
