gmic within krita

Hello there,

I'm new to Krita but familiar with the (sort of) competitors and gmic.

Krita 	krita-3.2.0-x64
GMIC	gmic-krita-qt-2.0.3_pre-win64

I did set up the correct path inside of krita to find
"gmic_krita_qt.exe" but there is the first confusion, since Krita has
its own exe already available.

My external exe did not return an image to Krita, the later does.
Would be nice, to know something about this behaviour.

Where can I find gmic's log file?
%Temp% on Windows shows my temp-files as a user and the ones from Krita,
but nothing from gmic.

Any help is much appreciated.
