Just as a follow-up: It might make sense to think about renaming the .desktop file (and subsequently the metainfo file) to match the reverse URL scheme anyway.

We need the reverse-DNS scheme to make apps DBus activatable, which is - among other things - needed to get startup notifications on Wayland. So, this is something that should be changed in future :-)
