Krita on Windows

My Windows 8.1 machine is using a solid state drive (256GB). Krita is
(almost) just as responsive as my linux machine with a platter drive. It is
very usable and nice. Having an SSD might be part of the issue for some,
but it is not universal. Boud is right that it needs to be done on a case
by case basis. It might only be 5% of users that are even experiencing
this. There are so many Windows users, it is hard to tell how common this
is. People that are having a bad experience are more likely to voice their
opinion in general.
