That would be awesome! I love Scribus myself, I've used it for 
http://files.kde.org/krita/marketing/2.8/aboutkrita2.8.pdf and the 
previous guides, but for 2.9 I lacked the time to make a full guide.

Let's setup a git repo for documents like these. Don't feel bound to the 
design I used for these guides, though! I'm not a graphic designer, so I 
just more or less copied the layout from Corel's release guides...

Not in a coordinated place. It means checking release announcements, 
Deevad's release blogs, the about krita guides for the various releases 
and checking Krita itself, and then creating it.
