My 16bit texture templates seem to crash Krit

Ok, strange I would have sworn that it was happening to me at home as well,
as I did get crashes yesterday just creating or opening documents. I'll
have to look further into those and report back.

I'll ask the it guys at work how they use gdb over there and try it again
tomorrow over lunch.
