Entry level tablet for use with Krita

Hello,

I have a System76 Lemur laptop and like to use Krita for my art work.

I am completely new to using computers for art and would like advice on
what kind of tablet to use.
Looking for something entry level not too expensive that works well with
the Lemur Ultra.

I understood it will be no problem to use Krita with the Gnome desktop,
is that correct?
