Testing sketch on Windows

Hi Boud,

I have installed Krita Sketch on my personal Notebook.

Its folder is on:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\KritaSketch\"

Here is my hardware:
Asus  X53S
Windows 7 home premium 64 bit (6.1, build 7601)
Intel core i7 2630QM 2Ghz (8 CPUs) - Sandy Bridge
RAM 8192MB
NVIDIA GEFORCE CARD  GT 540M - CUDA 1Gb

1. Krita Sketch "most of the time" open my jpg picture without problems.
I can work on them (paint, add layer, move layer, add a filter effect e.g. Blur; save as jpg, png, ora and so on)

2. Sometimes, Krita Sketch crashes BUT it is *VERY* difficult to find a pattern for this Crash (sorry!)
Later on, I have tried to reduce the steps to reproduce this same crash to no avail... :-(
Whenever I record my desktop to show this same crash Krita Sketch works flawless and my screencast is not useful in the end :-)

3. Sometimes, Krita Sketch freezes and I am forced to kill its process (WIN+R: taskmgr) BUT I don't know whether this is freeze is due to my jpg images or some other bugs...

P.s: it is a tad annoying not having tooltips right now.... :-)
When you hover your mouse over the icons you are forced to guess its meaning (this is why I suggest their use)

P.s.: Maybe this is not a bug but when you DOUBLE click on some folder, Krita sketch open an image on random.
On the contrary, if you open a folder with ONE click everything works as expected.
That is, you can choose the jpg image to open.

P.s: Today,  I have already posted another test with Krita Sketch with my personal Netbook (http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=137&t=108734)

Best regards,

Silvio Grosso

You should be able to push it in; grab and drag it down.

Hm, okay, that's actually the error that the intel guys are reporting, so that's pretty interesting. Could you give me the details of your setup -- windows version, localisation, 32 or 64 bits, whether sketch got installed into Program Files or Program Files\64. Would you be able to test an alternative installer too, tonight?

Okay, those are regular bugs -- we need to look at them. But the real problem I need to solve tonight is the jpg open problem :-(.
