Planning for 2.5

Hi everyone,

We haven't yet released 2.4, but we're on the right track there, and I think it's time to start thinking about what we want to do for 2.5.

Of course, performance could be optimized, we still use way too much memory, the interface needs polish -- but that is ongoing work. I don't think we will need huge core refactorings (though I'm sure Dmitry will prove me wrong :P).

I've got the following items high on my wish-list:

* Textured brush: http://www.davidrevoy.com/index.php?article107/textured-brush-in-floss-digital-painting

* Smooth strokes as in Gimp Painter: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=281267 (with a "slow tracking option")

* Make the floating point colorspaces actually useful for painters
