I have taken a look at my bin folder where the Krita 2.4 launcher is located.
It looks like most of the files are downloaded into:
opt/neon-project/bin
For instace, on this bin folder I have:
37808 files for a total of 764,8 MB
More precisely on this bin folder I have plenty of launchers.
Most of them are related to Calligra (Krita, Karbon, Kexi, Calligratable, Calligrastage etc).
But there are other Kde applications as well: e.g. Kate (text editor), Konqueror etc
To sum up, when you upgrade Ubuntu 11.10 it is very likely the ppa updates all these applications :-)
N.B: to avoid this massive upgrading, at the very beginning, I have tried to use Kubuntiac's Script [2].
Unfortunately, it has never worked out for me.
I have tried it on different Ubuntu 11.10 (Unity Shell) Vbox Virtual machines (32-64 bit).
I have even tried it on Kubuntu 11.10 but it failed on it as well :-)
Now I am 100% fine with this ppa:neon/ppa :-)
Best regards,
Silvio
