For your info, I use graphic tablets too, and here are the model I 
tested with success *:

Cintiq21UX (1st generation, based on Intuos 3)
Intuos 3 A4
Bamboo Fun A5
Intuos 4 A5 Medium

*  'plug and play' on my systems : Linux Mint 9 and 10 ( compatible 
Ubuntu Lucid and Maverick ) only Cintiq need a polishing on calibration 
with http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/xinput_calibrator and 
xsetwacom commands. Read www.linuxwacom.sourceforge.net wiki page for
