Hi everyone,

These days, I am enjoying all the goodies Krita 2.4 beta 5 can already offers on Windows 7.
I use less and less Linux (Ubuntu 11.10) which likely is not so "good" in the long term for me... :-)

One question though which arises is what is the difference betweeen:
Krita 2.4 beta 4 on Linux and Krita 2.5 beta 5 on Windows?

By reading *beta 5* for Windows I would suppose the Krita's version for Windows is one "step" above the one for linux (which is "only" beta 4).
However, for instance, when I try to open a bunch of PSD images of mine *none* of them are displayed correctly on Windows 7.
On the contrary, all my Psd images (except one) are shown fine on Ubuntu 11.10 with Krita 2.4 beta 4.

I have already opened a new bug report about this issue with two of my PSD samples :-)
It is here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=289857

P.s: all in all, it looks, from my first tests on Windows 7 - 64 bit, that most bugs and crashes are reproducible both on Windows and Ubuntu 11.10 - Unity Shell.

Best regards,

Silvio Grosso
