Good to know :-)

Regarding Krita, in my opinion, this change of name is useful because having
Krita listed in a (K)Office suites was sometimes a bit "misleading".
More precisely, it might looked like Krita was some sort of clone of
Microsoft Paint or OpenOffice Draw.
Naturally, this is not true because Krita is much more powerful than Paint
or Draw.
Actually, there is no match, in that Krita wins hands-down :-)

On top of that, KOffice, as a whole, never really took off.
In my view, this was detrimental especially for Krita (and Kexi) because
Krita was sometime far too much associated with the Koffice suite (which, in
turn, having a little user base was sometime considered as a second-rate
suite).

In summary, the name Calligra is nice for Krita because it is a bit more
"neutral" :-)
Naturally, a name is not enough to make a good Suite but, at present, is a
good start :-)

Anyway, GOOD LUCK to all developers for this new project ;-)
