Performance test plugin

Hi
I've just noticed that we haven't been compiling our trusty old performance
plugin for a looooong time -- which means that even when we enable it, it
won't compile unless we do a lot of work on it. Is it worth keeping it around
or had we better put performance tests in separate unittests and svn rm this
plugin?
