Krita good and bad.

Krita has a foundation built with both CMYK and RGB accommodated, so 
it has realistic potential in ways that Gimp and Inkscape don't.  But 
the range of plug ins and tools available with those products  seem 
greater. 

If an e.g., Gimp plug-in is written in Python is translation to a 
Krita plug-in at all feasable? Does it have to be rewritten 
essentially from scratch?
