Indeed! And Emanuale has done most of the curves tools, too (or maybe all of 
it?). Last time I checked, Bart still had about 30 patches to port -- and 
I've just made it possible to show layers that are outside the image bounds. 
I'll wait with doing zoom and opengl, and add support for painting 
selections, masks etc. Then port a simple tool to KoTool, and checkin. Should 
be doable, this week.

Question: should masks be shown even if the layer is not active?
