Luite (from Sebas' blog), who has been working on doing image filters in 
OpenGL has pointed me to: http://www.gpgpu.org/. Maybe everyone knew already, 
but I thought it an interesting site.

In other news: I've got suspend _and_ OpenGL working together on my 
laptop :-).
