tool clear and activate

Hi

It seems like when I undo past what my own tool has put on the stack I get a 
tool->clear()

but my tool is still active

Actually I get a tool->activate() and then a tool->clear(). Like as if I get 
it in the wrong order

this is a bug and it causes me to stop listening for undo events which is 
pretty bad.

any help? Adrian?
