enabling exception in core

Hi,
I am trying to fix the problem of wavelet transformation crashing when there 
isn't enought memory, and the clean solution involve using exceptions which 
are disabled currently, is there any objections/problem if I activate them in 
krita/core ?

oh, and how I get the list of available i18n strings, I would need "Out of 
memory" (or smthg like that).

(the alternative is to use malloc/free)
