rotating & shearing

Hi,

I noticed that rotating and shearing images/layers does not work anymore.

I wrote the original rotating and shearing code and if I remember correctly, 
it used to work pretty well.

One of the problems was, that the original algorithms were not colorspace 
independent, but I think that should be easy to fix because the algorithms 
were actually not very complicated.

Is anybody working on this or should I try to fix shearing and rotating? I 
still have an old version of Krita around, so it should not be too hard to 
(re-)implement shearing and rotating.
