Okay, say you have /home/cbr/kde-svn/koffice checked out...
Then:

cd /home/cbr/kde-svn/koffice
make -f Makefile.cvs
cd ..
mkdir build
cd build
../koffice/configure --enable-debug=full
make

That's all. In the meantime, it seems my svn commit borked, and now I appear 
to be having problems getting it to commit the rest :-(
