No. I am not sure, it was a guess.

Look at http://www.macworld.com/2000/11/bc/buzzphotoshop/, we have layers, we 
might already be near Photoshp 3.0 :) (except that Photoshop support CMYK 
since version 2.0, but "undo capabilities" were intoduced in 5.0)
