Indeed! It looks very very nice! :-)
Some quick notes:
* the popup thing you know about
* maybe it would be a good idea to have a visual clue that you can popup 
something there, like a small arrow on the lower left part
* if you click on a pattern/brush/gradient, and keep your button pressed to 
get a bigger preview of the resource, the popup disappears but the larger 
preview is still there
* I really like how the autobrush has a button to set the brush as current 
now. Maybe that would be a good idea for the autogradient as well.
* autobrush preview doesn't scale beyond the size of 23x23

but it's a real improvement even without those things :)
