transaction and selection

I'm fiddeling with undo for the transform tool

I use the painter.getTransaction but I have a problem

only the canvas is undone not the selection. I don't know if that is because the transaction doesn't handle selections at all or if it is because I delete the selection as part of the transform

anyway that is a problem

anyone have some insights or ideas?
