We should probably use littlecms for colour management and conversion -- but 
that can wait (unless someone feels really gripped and wants to do it _now_) 
until after the alpha. I feel we can live with a little imprecision if the 
framework allows to go for real precision later on. It's the same as with bit 
depth; I have the firm intention of havng Krita work with 8, 16, 32 -- or 
even more -- bit channels, but 8 bits is enough for now.
