krita slow - tried with valgrind (cache)

Oh, OK.  I will try to look at this shortly then.  Truthfully, until these 
80-120 hour work week let up, my involvement with Krita is pretty much 
limited to supporting other developers on the list.  My spare time is 
dedicated to my family.  That little write-up seemed quite large :)
