  I think you're correct.  WWDC is too expensive and too out-of-band for KDE 
developers generally.  We are often financed out of our own pocket (in many 
cases as students), or via limited funding from sponsors/donations.

   If there is any chance you can attend, please send me a note.  Maybe that 
will help encourage @apple.com to respond one way or another. :-)
