Nah, it wouldn't give us anything and would only bind us even more 
closely to one parser. 

I'd love to take a look at your current implementation of 
QXmlSimpleReader though. The WebCore-125 which is out now is based on 
Expat. Do you have a rough estimate as to when the next release is 
going to be?

BTW, what we could consider is something along the lines of what Rob and 
Nikolas did in KDOM 
(http://webcvs.kde.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/kdenonbeta/kdom/parser/). 
where they have pluggable parsers. A nifty thing really.
