Ok, but this example doesn't need either (1) or (2) as all the manipulations 
(even the output) are done by JavaScript and CSS). I think the only 
imperative feature for khtml would be to support JavaScript in xml documents. 
Everything else can then be assembled on the fly as needed.

(Btw, the example page doesn't even load in konqueror :-( )
