My congratulations, too!
It would be interesting to know number of downloads for Safari 1.0 from Apple
site - more common (KHTML) users we have, more attention KHTML would get from
developers community.
|
| Also there is a new webcore release. Is there a changelog available
| already?

| What are the future plans of the safari team? Can we now that the big 1.0
| step is over invest a bit more time in merging our efforts and codebases?
I'd like to see in KHTML completed support for CSS 2.1
Than KHTML/Safari/Konqueror would be ready for Publishing Industry - and all
DTP and professional Publishing users would be able post-process publications
in HTML/XHTML/XML formats, with CSS used for formatting during export
process.
Of course, we would need kind of blessing from Adobe and Quark first, but I
guess we can get it with best browser on the market available on Apple
platform. (I do not count Linux/UNIX here ;-)
|
| How about a consolidated regression test suite? More regular patch merges?
P.S. Most important part of CSS 2.1 needed by DTP or Word Processing apps in
CSS:: inline-block.
