I now tried installing Flashgot and using groups and I'm still unable to
reproduce your issue. I'm now thinking this may all be caused by a Qt bug,
because the 5523184 you mention in Comment 5 is actually part of the redirected
URL for the download, but QUrl should still be able to parse the name
correctly.

Would it be too much of a problem for you to update to Qt 4.8.4?
