Actually that is what it does.

Currently (in 4.4 and trunk) it works this way:
A download gets added/removed/moved/finishes a save is being requested.

When it takes 5 seconds until it is finally saved, if inbetween another
download gets added it won't change the time, i.e. if at that point only 3
seconds were needed then after adding another download still only 3 seconds are
needed.

The Transfers also get saved when KGet is closed.


So I can't reproduce your issue, it might be that you killed it before 5
seconds passed.
