I am afraid I can't do anything about this bug since 4.4.5 -- the last minor
version for 4.4 -- has been tagged already [1] and KioDownload is not used
anymore in 4.5.

In any case please install the debug packages when reporting bugs in the
future, this would make work for us a lot easier.
