Please try again with "Search for verification information" _disabled_. You can
find this option at "Settings/Configure Kget .../Plugins/Multi Segment KIO" and
then retry.

With that setting disabled I cannot reproduce your issue with icculus.org.

In any case I'll try to come up with something that will work if that setting
is enabled.
