Version 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0) (KDEmod) in ArchLinux i686:
Trying to reproduce this bug I got another crashes. May be related.

Steps to reproduce:
- Start KGET
- Start a new download (new download icon, paste a file URL) 
- The download start. PAUSE it. (may be unnecessary)
- Go to Settings / Advanced / Uncheck the KDE Global Tracking option
- Click OK
- Crash

I've got another crashes while checking the KDE Global Tracking option (activating)
