DownThemAll, a Firefox extension/addon, supports metalinks in nightly builds.

in this screenshot, the icon/logo, description, publisher, license, OS/
arch, & other info are taken from the metalink. very cool. multiple files are listed in the metalink, so you can decide which ones you want to download.

current DTA nightly builds support multiple files listed in metalinks & full file checksum verification. chunk checksums will be coming...

Project metalinks: CentOS, Debian, Edubuntu, Fedora, Kernel, Kubuntu, OpenOffice.org, openSUSE, Ubuntu at http://download.packages.ro/metalink/

All .metalinks at Metalink @ Packages Resources now contain chunk checksums. For supporting clients (currently only aria2), this allows downloads to be repaired if any errors are encountered.

A few projects have a /collections directory which will have a .metalink for all files - Debian has 21 i386 ISOs, and the collection .metalink should add all of those files to your transfer queue.

If anyone has any problem with these, let us know (besides Fedora, Edubuntu, & Kubuntu which currently have problems & are being fixed).
