I humbly thinks that bittorrent is not a friendly protocol to integrate as kioslave or others since a bittorrent download takes a considerable amount of time.

For example, consider a 2MB zip file. It could be downloaded from ftp or http within 8sec approximately (on 2048kbps DSL) while it could take let's say 10 minutes depending on trackers available. I don't see the point in this.

I think it's better to use a separate application. ktorrent works quite, altough it has some things to improve. Using kget seems nice as well, but in this case I hope it includes up/down bandwith limiting. ;)
