Good work, Manolo! I've checked out your plugin and it seems to work well.

Regarding the qt patch, what do you think about copying the QFtp. {h,cpp} 
files inside the plugin tree, applying your patch and renaming the class to 
something like MFtp. This only as a temporary solution, since I don't know 
how much time will pass before the patch will be released in an official Qt 
release. 
Could this be a better solution? What do you guys think?

Speaking about the details widget, i find it a good start. Surely it can be 
highly improved! I would amazed by the presence of a progress bar similar to 
the ones used in the bittorrent clients, displaying the download chunks 
produced by each thread :-)
