Because my bug 87117 has been marked a duplicate of this bug, the bug status of this bug has been downgraded to "wishlist". I still think it is a bug. The original report is this:
===
I need to serialize downloads from an FTP site, because I can have a maximum of three connections. Copying using Konqueror creates more connections. However, I need to download complete folders. While KGet accepts folders when dropped to it from Konqueror, it refuses to download them. If they get accepted for drops, they should be accepted for downloading too.
===
Mind the last sentence: you can drag a folder to KGet, and KGet accepts the drop. However, the folder is NOT downloaded. In my mind, this is a bug: either do not accept the drop, show a message that folder downloading is not supported, whatever, or - preferably - recursively download the contents of the folder.
