[Kget] geting kget2 source?

You need subversion. It shouldn't be a problem to install it. It's part of 
almost every distribution.

Then you need a kde4 environment to develop on KGet2.
http://edu.kde.org/development/port2kde4.php

If you have a kde4 environment you can work on KGet2. 
How to download and install KGet2:

svn co -N svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/trunk/KDE/kdenetwork
cd kdenetwork
svn co svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/work/make_kget_cool/kget
svn co svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/trunk/KDE/kde-common/admin
unsermake -f Makefile.cvs
./configure
unsermake
unsermake install
