            Bug ID: 501719
Summary: Disabled inline Ark integration in Dolphin causes
programmatic invocations of archive files via Dolphin
                    to fail
    Classification: Applications
           Product: dolphin

A Screenshot Depicting the GZip Inaccessibility Error inside Dolphin

SUMMARY

When a user has inline Ark integration disabled in Dolphin, invoking an archive
file inside the application programmatically (in the way that
"ckb-next-0.6.1-1.fc41.x86_64.rpm" does) causes an error banner to appear,
which states that the binary relevant to decompression of type of archive is
unavailable.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Invoke "sudo dnf5 install -y ckb-next-0.6.1-1".
2. Invoke the GUI.
3. Select "Generate report".
4. Select a location.

OBSERVED RESULT

Dolphin is automatically invoked, and the aforementioned applies.

EXPECTED RESULT

Ark should probably be invoked by Dolphin, or the relevant preference should be
automatically overriden to whatever is most compatible.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

> Operating System: Fedora Linux 41
> KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.3
> KDE Frameworks Version: 6.12.0
> Qt Version: 6.8.2
> Kernel Version: 6.13.6-200.fc41.x86_64 (64-bit)
> Graphics Platform: Wayland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Closing Ark invoked from this caused a crash. I'll report it next, referencing
this.
