            Bug ID: 506306
Summary: Add support for using FIDO2 Hardware token for
                    sftp-connections
    Classification: Applications
           Product: dolphin
      Version First 25.04.2
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-null at kde.org
          Reporter: anaxi_bugzilla at mailbox.org
                CC: kfm-devel at kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

I have setup ssh to use my hardwaretoken(residential key). For use with konsole
via ssh-command this works fine. But if I now try to connect via dolphin/sftp
to my other device I only get "authentication failed".

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. set up key authentication only using hardwaretoken
2. open dolphin
3. type in "sftp://otherdevice> in address bar and hit enter

OBSERVED RESULT
- red bar with "authentication failed"

EXPECTED RESULT
- pop up asking for pin and/or touching the key
