I tested again on Neon Testing, where KWrite is not installed by default and
Kate is set to the default for .md files
I was able to change it to Ghostwriter
Then, I installed Obsidian, added it to the list of apps in Properties and
tried again. It was successful.

Since the problem didn't appear with a new user, and can't be reproduced, I'm
going to leave this in NEEDSINFO. The report will remind us to update it in 15
days. If the bug can't be reproduced in 30 days, this will auto-close.
