I think it would make sense to test on the same site. For reference, I use
Proton Drive - dragging and dropping into Firefox has a lag time of about 2
seconds before the web app picks up the event. Dragging and dropping into
Chromium (using Vivaldi) is instant.

This has precedent in reports from others:
