When can we expect this to be in a tagged release? broadly guessing from git
history it seems there was about a month between `24.12.0`, `24.12.1` and
`24.12.2`, so can we expect this to land in a `24.12.3` in early march?

Or is this just a coincidence and we might get it earlier?
