Unfortunately, this is my first (ever) experience with Wayland and KDE, but I'm
willing to try some older release. I'm guessing Kubuntu 20.04.6 would work
since it was released in 2023, but if you can point me to a better alternative
then I'm game.

I was under the impression that it's impossible for an application to move its
window with Wayland (only compositor can do that), but I might be wrong.
