            Bug ID: 508848
Summary: "Open with..." doesn't work with mp3s and qmmp
    Classification: Applications
           Product: dolphin
      Version First 25.08.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-null at kde.org
          Reporter: alex.karelas at gmail.com
                CC: kfm-devel at kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 184522

missing right-arrow

(I have dolphin 25.08.0, qt6 6.8.2, plasma 6.4.4)

SUMMARY

I have qmmp as my media player, and while I have "Qmmp" and "Enqueue in Qmmp"
as "Application Preference Order" for mp3's in SystemSettings->Default
Applications->File Associations, right-clicking on mp3 in dolphin shows only
"Open with Qmmp" and "Open with..." (the latter option has no right-arrow, so
no way to choose "Enqueue with Qmmp". REVERSING the order of these 2 file
associations, however, does show both options in the right-click menu (ie
Enqueue with Qmmp, and if you click on the right-arrow at "Open with..." then
"Open with Qmmp" appears).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Qmmp
2. Go to "System Settings" -> "Default Applications" -> "File Associations" ->
"mp3" (or "audio/mpeg") -> make sure "Application Preference Order" is "Qmmp" &
"Enqueue in Qmmp"
3. Right-click on an mp3 file in dolphin

OBSERVED RESULT

"Open with..." has no "right-arrow" to be able to display the "Enqueue with
Qmmp" option

EXPECTED RESULT

"Open with..." should have a right-arrow at its right-hand side

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Void Linux/Plasma 6.4.4
KDE Plasma Version: Plasma 6.4.4
KDE Frameworks Version: Qt6 6.8.2
Qt Version: Qt6 6.8.2
