I think it would be better if icon view would be used when more than half of
the files are media and folders should be ignored.

 I have a folder where I only have 8 not media files which is less than 1/3rd
of the files but because folders also count (there are 9 folders) it pushes it
to be more than 1/3rd of the files are not media files so it uses the other
view mode. In this case there is no reason not to be in icon view.
