Still present in plasma 6.2.5 / dolphin 24.12.3. 
This renders the smb:// kioslave near unusable.

Combine this with the miserable ui-freezing behaviour of plasma / dolphin on
non-kio network mounts (too many bug reports to count, going back many years)
and the "just use kio, that's what it's for" comments that issue keeps
attracting... 
What purpose exactly does a file manager that can't gracefully handle network
mounts or thumbnails serve, in 2025?
